Low in calories and packed with vitamins, an ice cold watermelon-based smoothie is your go-to drink after a good workout, on the beach or while relaxing at home with family and friends. Here’s how to prepare a range of quick, easy, watermelon-inspired smoothies.
Directions:
In each instance, use 2 cups of frozen watermelon pieces, cut into 2 ½ cm cubes, then blend well with
your chosen fruit. It’s also essential that your smoothie is really cold, so either freeze your fruit first, buy
frozen fruit, or add in a healthy amount of ice.
Watermelon Strawberry Smoothie
Watermelon and strawberries complement each other extremely well. Strawberries are also very high in antioxidants, making this a superb drink for the health-conscious.
Ingredients
• 1 cup frozen strawberries.
• 2 cups frozen watermelon pieces, cut into 1-inch cubes.
• 1 cup Vanilla Greek yogurt.
• 2 teaspoons honey.
Watermelon Banana Smoothie
Bananas add a great creamy texture and wonderful flavour when combined with watermelon. The nutrients in bananas also help with digestion and are great for heart health and weight loss.

Watermelon Blueberry Smoothie
