GET YOUR LEGS BEACH READY
GET YOUR LEGS BEAUTIFULLY BEACH READY
Ooooo-la-la! Summer is here and the bods are on the beaches from coast-to-coast around South Africa. Tanned and toned are the watchwords from Clifton to Ballito and beyond. So girls, just how do you get those gorgeous legs of yours into the shape they deserve whether lying in your bikini or enjoying sundowners in your ever-so-cool denim shorts? Easy really…
EXERCISE YOUR BUTT OFF
Grab some tunes, stick in the earphones and kick-off with a good power-walk, run or cycle. Any exercise that gets your heartbeat up is good exercise, helping you burn fat and boosting your metabolism. Swim, stretch, go yoga. Target your legs and bottom with squats, leg lifts and lunges. Feel the burn, see the results.
EXFOLIATE & BODY BRUSH
Help reduce cellulite and allow your skin room to breathe with a body brush and exfoliating sesh. A dry body brush gets the blood flowing and breaks up those fatty areas under your skin. Brush in sweeping motions up towards your heart. Exfoliate your skin before you shave your legs. Use a scrub or exfoliating gloves in the shower to prevent ingrown hairs and to remove dry skin.
HAIR REMOVAL
When it comes to hair removal, you may want to wax, shave, epilate or use hair removal cream. If you’re shaving, use Super-Max ComfortGrip with ergonomic grip handle for a better grip and greater control while shaving. It offers a Lubra-strip enriched with Vitamin E, Aloe Vera and Tea Tree Oil to eliminate irritation and moisturise your skin. The Elastomer guard bar allows helps avoid unsightly nicks and cuts. You may also want to consider using Super-Max Sensitive Shave Gel – enriched with a unique triple action formula of Cucumber, Chamomile and Almond Oil. Cucumber reduces skin irritation, Chamomile soothes the skin and helps to heal nicks and cuts, and Almond Oil leaves your skin feeling moisturized.
MOISTURISE
Remember to moisturise your legs daily to keep them smooth and healthy. This is always best done after showering for maximum results. Use an oil, cream or body butter, taking your time to really work it into your skin.
TAN
Step out into the sun for a glowing tan. Small amounts of sunlight are great for your legs. If you’re going to be in the sun for extended periods, make sure you use a really good tanning lotion or cream with a high protection factor. Nothing looks worse than red, painful looking legs. A reasonable, considered, well-planned tan will make your legs look longer and more toned. Summer is ready and waiting – go on, put your best legs ever on show – you know you want to.
